Epoxy, in this instance, is basically a heavy-duty adhesive that is used to fill cracks in concrete and other surfaces.
There are several different kinds of epoxy concrete crack repair products, including some that come in DIY kits.
The epoxy we use is a bit stronger than those. We use epoxies from top manufacturers like Prime Resins, which has epoxies that specialize in moisture prevention and structural repair, among other things.
Some of their epoxies don’t just fill cracks or even just strengthen walls. Some of the epoxies are stronger than the concrete itself.
We also don’t just spread a little bit of epoxy on the surface and call it a day. We make sure to get the epoxy all the way inside the crack. That way you get a truly structural repair, not a cosmetic one.
